Bean to Cup holds hospice benefit

Irish coffee and green slushie served along with art exhibition and live music for Bean to Cup's St. Patrick's fundraiser.

Local artists and musicians are showcasing their talents in a special event to raise money for the North Okanagan Hospice Society.

The Bean to Cup Coffee House on 27th Street is hosting the event on St. Patrick’s Day Saturday, which features an art exhibition opening downstairs, featuring the work of Donna Mair, Dan Jason, Sassan Filsoof and others. The opening starts at 5 p.m.

Patrons can then wander upstairs to enjoy live music by Kristian Frater at 6 p.m. and LeftOnLights at 8 p.m.

“A portion of all coffee sold this night is earmarked for North Okanagan Hospice Society in Vernon B.C. and as it’s St. Patrick’s Day, Bean to Cup will be featuring lime slushes and the dinner special is Bean to Cup’s very own butter chicken,” said Kunal Chander.

The event takes place Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. For more information, contact the Bean to Cup at 250-503-2222.
