Some Bollywood stars were shining in Surrey Wednesday (June 11) as an upcoming Punjabi film celebrated its global launch.
Renowned Punjabi singer, actor and TV presenter Diljit Dosanjh was at the Royal King Palace to launch the movie Punjab 1984.
Co-star Rana Ranbir and producer Manmord Singh Sidhu were also here to celebrate the film’s opening.
The movie is based on the real-life events after the invasion of the Darbar Sahib (Golden Temple) and follows the story of a mother and her missing son.
The movie opens June 27 at Cineplex Strawberry Hill.
