Chilliwack Players Guild is proud to present its 26th British Pub Nights, with a journey back to the 60s.
The show hit the stage July 2, and is directed by Clint Hames. This year it features a live band with Beatles’ tunes, and skits performed by a talented cast that encourages the audience to sing along.
Pauline Dynowski’s choreography creates dance numbers to remember, and the harmonies are perfected under the guidance of choral director Judy Hill. The costumes by Mary Spani have that groovy 60s flair, and the set is reminiscent of The Cavern Pub in Liverpool.
The show runs for two weeks from July 2-11. The Cultural Centre is bringing in British Beer to complement the show and Dickens will be on hand to sell sweets and ginger-ale if ginger beer is your thing.
At intermission it’s a pub lunch catered by Dickens, with roast beef sandwich, salad, crisps and Branston pickle. The evening is $25 in the Rotary Hall at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre.
For tickets contact 604-391-show there are tables of 8, or individual tickets.
