Brushworks members are proud to host their Annual Spring Brushworks Members Show at the Filberg Historical Lodge during the Victoria Day long weekend May 21-23. Beautiful paintings, in all sizes and mediums, are exhibited for sale. Artists will be in attendance all weekend.
“We are very excited to showcase our members’ work at our Annual Spring Show,” says Kay Hilborn. “Visit our art show and admire the originality and talent of our local artists, there is something for everyone.”
Brushworks, established in 2001, consists of 28 local artists who paint together each week in Comox. This talented group creates delightful works in a variety of media and styles.
Participating artists are Adelle Brown, April Dyck, Astrid Davidson, Brenda Calhoun, Brenda Olinek, Doris Wilson, Janet Liszt, Juanita Olson, Barbara Martin, Bruce Martin, July McDonald, June Heaton, Kate Kokotailo, Kay Hilborn, Linda Huibers, Mary Reed, Pamela Faunt, Rita Woods, Ruth Miller, Cal Miller, Sharon Lalonde, Sheryl Fremlin, Susan Reddekop, Valerie Parmley, Valerie Wallace and Gwen Rawlins.
The Filberg Lodge (61 Filberg Rd. in Comox) offers interpretive tours of the building during the Brushworks show.
Teahouse is serving Saturday and Sunday.
Be sure to visit the show during the long weekend of Saturday, May 21, Sunday, May 22 and Monday, May 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
