When Betty comes home earlier than planned and sees what her husband is doing in their living room, she gets the shock of her life, then walks out after his failed explanation.
The attempts of family members to help the couple, result in wildly unintended consequences, that only make things worse.
The play offers rollicking fun based on the differences between how men and women think and on their resulting miscommunications.
Before all the problems are resolved, secrets the characters would have preferred remain private are revealed, and the audience learns the meaning of Buying the Moose.
