Descend into the hallowed halls of Cumberland for a legendary night where the spirits of the shifting season come to life.
The Perseverance Hallows’ Eve Ball is this Saturday night, Oct. 29 in Legendary Cumberland.
Be prepared for breathtaking and dramatic dance and aerial performances, projections, audio voyages and inner sanctums, costume and mask contests, tantalizing beverages, dangerous door prizes and other unimaginable spectres and spectacles.
Celebrate the deep dark woods with creatures of the night from across the Comox Valley. Find your heart’s delight in the wickedly wonderful silent auction, ingest herbal infused treats from the Harmonic Arts elixir bar and quench your undying thirsts with local ales and spirits.
Brace yourself for some stunning live performances from Arcana Dea Dance and the Flying Amanita Circus, dance to the wild energy of BOUSADA, immerse yourself in the nature inspired Silent Season cave and prepare yourself for other surprises.
Costume contests include: most terrifying, most forest-inspired, most supernatural, best “couple or team” costume, best mask work, best make-up work, best props and best use of tech. Amazing prizes to be won.

The Hallows’ Eve Ball is presented by the Cumberland Community Forest Society and Cumberland Village Works in collaboration with The Abbey Studio, Lucky Village Enterprises, Fox&Bee, Cumberland Brewing Company and Harmonic Arts.
Supernatural agents are matching 100 per cent of funds raised at the ball to protect the Cumberland Forest.
The Perseverance Hallows’ Eve Ball is part of “Project Perseverance” – a multi-event, multi-initiative fundraising push toward the next round of forest purchases surrounding the small but mighty Village of Cumberland that runs till Oct. 29.
