Chemainus Classical Concerts has announced the 2017/18 season: nine concerts in the intimate setting of St. Michael’s Church.
The atmosphere and acoustics of the historic building, which dates back to 1891, plus the serving of a “Meet the Artist” tea afterwards, add to these events.
The organizers will present a variety of musicians and singers over the course of the season.
First up, on Oct. 22, is Stylus Fantasticus, with Paul Luchkow, Michael Jarvis, and Sam Stadlen taking you on musical flights of fancy from the 17th and 18th century. Next, on Nov. 19 is pianist Luke Welch presenting a show called Crossing Borders.
