Downtown Nanaimo is standing in to represent a fictional seaside community as Chesapeake Shores winds down filming on its latest season.
Actors and crew from the Hallmark Channel TV series have set up downtown today, May 21, where filming is taking place inside the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.
Most of the filming for the series is done in the Parksville-Qualicum Beach area but Nanaimo has also hosted shooting in the past.
Emilie Ullerup, who plays Bree on the series, posted on social media May 12 that there were two weeks left to go before wrapping up on Season 4.
Fans of the show will find out what’s next after the Season 3 finale which saw Abby and Trace face an uncertain future while the O’Briens finally opened up about the past.
