After another spring and summer of filming in Qualicum Beach, Parksville and the surrounding area, Chesapeake Shores will be back for the premier of season two in Canada on Friday, Sept. 8.
The show, set in an idyllic beach town on the Maryland coast (but actually shot in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area), will air on W Network on Sept. 8 at 9 p.m.
While the program has been showing on the Hallmark Channel in the U.S. since Aug. 6, Canadians have had to wait, despite playing host to the cast and crew. But there were of course perks to being so close to the production.
As you watch season two, keep an eye out for locals who may have made it into the show, including Qualicum Beach firefighters and local artist Doug Giebelhaus, whose painting of two actors from the show caught some attention.
