7 Story Circus, your local community circus, presents A Tall and Peculiar Tale on June 14, 15 and 17.

In A Tall & Peculiar Tale, a caterpillar, a fisherman, a librarian and her writer navigate a secret world where transformations take place, dreams are chased and love is found.

Featuring astonishing aerialists, acrobats, contortionists, unicyclists, jugglers and maybe even a fish, the shows happen at Courtenay Recreation’s Lewis Centre.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a show at 7 on June 14 and 15. A matinée June 17 starts at 2 p.m. Doors open 30 minutes earlier.

The first show will feature an opening act performed by the students of Community Circus 1 (ages six to 10). Friday’s show will feature an opening act by the aerial arts students.

On Sunday, you can stay and play at the circus after the show and meet the cast.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $12 per person or $25 for family passes.
