Colin Easthope and the Gladgnome Band are set to present a live performance at the Gibraltar Room this Friday evening, Jan. 21.

They will open for Cariboo Gold starting at 7:30 p.m.

Colin is complimented by his brother Kevin on drums and fellow Williams Laker’s Brandon Hoffman on bass and Cameron Catalano on piano.

They will showcase songs from Colin’s alternate-country album Of Myself and Others and provide a sneak peak into his upcoming recordings.

Colin has been refining his sound for the past three years in Kelowna and has earned a reputation as an up-and-comer to watch for on the roots and blues circuit.

His songs Honey and Undone have been getting steady airplay on the CBC.

Colin recently had a live performance featured on the Internet at Streamingcafe.net.

In March 2010 Colin brought his songs to Gladgnome Studios where Brandon and Cameron recorded Of Myself and Others.

Kevin lent not only his drumming skills to the project, but also intriguing art work for the album cover.

He has also designed a set of unique shirts to coincide with their homecoming show.

Colin will tour this summer with fellow Williams Lakers Cole Patenaude and Joey Jacobson under the guise of the Plaid Bandits.

Jacobson holds down the low-end on bass, while Patenaude contributes lead guitar.
