Comedian Matt Falk headlines Menno Comedy Nite

Event in Abbotsford on Saturday, Oct. 5 a fundraiser for historical society

Comedian Matt Falk performs in Abbotsford on Saturday, Oct. 5 as a fundraiser for the Mennonite Historical Society of B.C. (MHSBC).

Menno Comedy Nite starts at 7 p.m. at the Abbotsford Arts Centre, 2329 Crescent Way.

Falk packed the house when he previously performed for the MHSBC in September 2017 at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium.

Falk has performed at Just for Laughs, the Halifax Comedy Festival, and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival.

He was recently named “Best of the Fest” at the Burbank Comedy Festival in California, and his clean stand-up comedy also earned him second place in the World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas.

The comedian, raised in Niverville, Manitoba, knows Mennonites, and knows Mennonite jokes even better.

Organizers say guests don’t have to be Mennonite to enjoy the show.

Tickets are $35, and can be purchased at the MHSBC office at 1818 Clearbrook Rd., online at mhsbc.com, or by phoning 604-853-6177.
