This Hour Has 22 Minutes co-host Shaun Majumder will perform in Abbotsford in June.
Majumder, a Gemini Award-winning actor, host and comedian hails from Burlington, Nfld., and recently hosted a two-season documentary season on his efforts to transform his home town into a high-end, sustainable tourist destination.
He joined This Hour Has 22 Minutes in 2003, and is also a favorite of the internationally renowned “Just for Laughs Comedy Festival,” having hosted the TV series for three seasons.
He will appear June 13 at the Abbotsford Arts Centre. Tickets are $50 plus facility and service charges, and can be purchased at 1-855-985-5000 or at www.ticketmaster.ca. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 7:30 p.m.
Majumder’s television credits include a starring role in the Farrelly Brothers Fox comedy “Unhitched” in 2008 before his Comedy Central Presents special debuted. He has also appeared on “Detroit 1-8-7,” “Republic of Doyle,” “24,” “Hatching, Matching and Dispatching,” “Robson Arms,” “The Firm,” “Cedric the Entertainer Presents,” and “Da Kink in My Hair.”
His film credits include “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle,” “Bob Funk,” “The Ladies Man,” “Pushing Tin,” “Purpose,” and “Unhitched.”
