Get your deerstalker cap on. The play’s afoot.
For the fourth show in Many Hats Theatre Co. 11th season they present a hilarious modern take on a classic murder mystery by none other than Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
The Hound of the Baskervilles is one of Doyle’s most enduring stories and Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery is a modern adaptation by master playwright Ken Ludwig.
Ludwig, the award-winning mastermind of comic mayhem, has created a fast-paced mystery-comedy about everyone’s favourite detective solving his most notorious case. Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson must crack the mystery of The Hound of the Baskerville before a family curse dooms its newest heir. Does a wild hellhound prowl the moors of Devonshire? Can our heroes discover the truth in time?
Baskerville is directed by Josephine Patterson and produced by Shannon French. Marlena Dolan stage manages.
Cal Meiklejohn and Martin Pedersen headline as super-sleuth Holmes and his right hand man, Watson, respectively. Playing multiple roles are Rob King, Alyosha Pushak and Kim Russell.
