The Comox Air Show takes flight on Saturday Aug. 17 at CFB Comox.
The air show is part of the 2013 Armed Forces Day celebrations and celebrated 70 years of Canadian Air Force History.
The show will feature the CF-18 Demonstration Team, the Canadian Snowbirds, as well as the C-17 Globemaster transport plane and a Second World War-era B-25 Mitchell bomber.
There will also be a static display with close to 50 privately-owned vintage aircraft for aviation enthusiasts to enjoy.
The gates open to the public at 8:30 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. The flying acts get started at 10:15 a.m. and go until 3:45 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children.
