Letz Sing is inviting the public to an evening of performance and interactive singing in the Cumberland United Church on Saturday, June 15 at 7:30 p.m.

All proceeds from this event will be going to support the Care-A-Van and the fine work that it does in our community.

Comox Bay Care Society’s Care-A-Van is a non-profit, community-funded mobile outreach health unit, providing no-fee health care and social development services directly to clients on the streets of the Comox Valley.

The aims of the concert are to support a great cause as well as to share a sense of fun and community spirit singing together in the inclusive style of Letz Sing.

There will be time to relax and listen, as well as many opportunities for the audience to join in and create some rich harmonies together with the choir. The concert members themselves helped to determine the songs we will sing together.

An added bonus to the evening will be the amazing resonance of our voices when the audience and choir are singing together in the acoustically rich Cumberland Church.

“If you have never sung with Letz Sing, this will be a good way to check us out and see how we do it,” said Letz Sing choir director Tina Filippino, in a press release. “It should be a fun event.”

Home baked goodies will be available for purchase.

There will be a draw for a Letz Sing term membership as well as a gift basket.

Tickets are $15, available at the Laughing Oyster Book Shop on 5th St. in Courtenay.
