Canadian singer Faye Blais and Australian folk-rock trio Jungal bring their Chasing the Sun tour to Hope on Sunday.

Blais recently launched her new EP featuring the single The Ways I Love You and three bonus tracks written for the Canadian documentary Return to Minomin by award-winning Aboriginal filmmaker Michelle Derosier.

The indie-folk artist performs sweet melodies coupled with raw acoustics, and wins audiences over with her quick wit, spontaneity and ability to connect with the soul.

Jungal creates their own brand of Australian-flavoured roots music blended with folk, soul and rock. Their energetic performances and catchy, positive songwriting comes to life through three harmonious voices that create a unique and powerful sound.

This is the third time Blais and Jungal have toured. They will perform in Memorial Park as part of the free summer Concerts in the Park series on Aug.7, from 2-4 p.m.
