Two concert features will be held at Mill Lake (2387 Ware St.) on June 27: the versatile and true-to-their-name Innerwild from 4 to 5:30 p.m., and the funky urban Even Keel from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Innerwild is ready to bring rocking, swinging grooves. The five musicians all hail from the Fraser Valley, and the Abbotsford Arts Council has seen their mix of blues, R&B, swing, rockabilly, country, and classic rock before with the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert Series as well as at last year’s Mill Lake Cruise-in.
Then Even Keel is set to take the stage with a blend of urban takes on nostalgic and new hits. An instrumental complement of guitar, flute, percussion, keyboard, and saxophone offer a dynamic canvas for the smooth, rich vocals of Melissa Mulder-Albertson.
The concert is also a Full Cupboard night where attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items or a cash donation.
The Full Cupboard is a community program designed to raise foods, funds, and awareness for local food banks in communities where Envision Financial operates. You can also donate online now at the thefullcupboard.ca.
