The Victoria Conservatory of Music has three upcoming concerts to catch.
The Romantics and Mozart is the first, and part of VCM’s Master Series. Conservatory students play a program that includes Beethoven, Mozart, Haydn and Bach, featuring instrumental and voice solos, conducted by Timothy Vernon and Stephen Brown.
It happens Friday (April 1) at 7:30 p.m. at Alix Goolden Hall. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors or $5 for VCM students and faculty.
As part of VCM’s Headline Series, Bernadene Blaha and Elizabeth Dolin play a piano-cello duo in a French repertoire including a piece by Chopin.
The concert is set for Tuesday, April 5, 7:30 p.m. at Alix Goolden. Tickets are $19 for adults, or $15 for seniors and students.
Finally, Shakespeare’s comedies and tragedies are played out in a two-day Opera Studio production, conducted by Joey Pietraroia and directed by Alison Greene.
The shows start at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9, both at Metro Studio. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, or $5 for VCM students and faculty.
