Courtyard Gallery opens in Enderby

The Courtyard Gallery officially opened its “gates” April 25.

More than 300 people from Enderby, Salmon Arm, Lumby, Armstrong and Vernon joined in celebration as  Enderby’s newest arts space.

The Courtyard Gallery officially opened its “gates” April 25.

The celebration, in correlation with Arts and Culture Week in B.C., saw Enderby Mayor Howard Cyr cut the ribbon, while patrons enjoyed refreshments and listened to music played by harpist Julia Armstrong.

“The comments were very supportive and artwork was sold on opening night as well as on subsequent days. This was a grand celebration of B.C. Arts and Culture Week in Enderby,” said artist Tatianna O’Donnell.

The cooperative art gallery is located at 907 Belvedere St. Hours of operation are Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
