Crossfire fires it home to Lumby Days

Blues rock band Crossfire is part of the entertainment at Lumby Days June 8 to 10.

Local musicians Crossfire are home in time for Lumby Days.

Lead vocalist/guitarist Curtis Paul, rhythm/lead guitarist Ian Marshall, percussion Ben Nagy and  bassist Darren Dolman recently signed a recording and artist development contract with HMP Recoding & Development Inc.

Crossfire joined 22 solo artists and bands in touring five Canadian cities, including Kelowna, and were named that city’s favourite audience choice.

The group, which plays its own unique blend of blues and alternative rock, have also opened at the Vernon Winter Carnival Blues Festival (2011), and have performed at the Wild Salmon Festival, Cherryville Days, Checkers Bar and Grill and Lumby Days.

You can catch them on the Lumby Days festival stage Friday, June, 8 at 8:30 p.m. with their new CD, Alive and Well, which will be available for sale.
