Singer Crystal Hicks and band Horizon will be in concert this Saturday, May 11 at 7 p.m. at House of James (2743 Emerson St.).
Horizon consists of five versatile and entertaining musicians, including lead guitarist Warren Grosland, Bill Fulton on electric bass, Freddie Schmidt on tenor sax, and drummer Rick Noel.
Crystal Hicks is the lead vocalist, and she has been compared to the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James.
Horizon performs a plethora of musical styles, including swing, blues, rockin’ soul, R & B, and rock ‘n’ roll.
Songs include Up Above My Head, Grandma’s Hands, Wayfaring Stranger, Stand By Me, I Can See Clearly, At Last and I Heard It Through The Grapevine.
