Did you know that Cumberland produced an Olympic athlete, the person who started Karate Canada and the best doughnuts in the world?
(Okay- so the doughnut choice was personal).
Come celebrate Cumberland’s history with an evening of fabulous musical entertainment while at the same time raising funds for signage to name Cumberland’s alleyways.
The Alley Way Sign Project is raising funds to have the first eight signs dedicated in 2018 aiming to recognize the names of the people who built the Cumberland community.
Music is by Gord Carter, Joanna Finch, James Lambert, Edwin Grieve, Al Passenen, Sue Pyper plus Songs from the Ideal Café.
The event is set for the Cumberland Hotel on Nov.16 at 6:30 p.m.
There will be a silent auction and more – door by donation.
