Dancers from across the Comox Valley will perform May 20 at G.P. Vanier Secondary School to raise funds to help victims of Japan’s devastating March 11 earthquake and tsunami.
The idea was brought up by Carley Cofeild to bring hope through dance. Doors open at 7 p.m. with the performance beginning at 7:30 in the drama room with all proceeds going towards Japan.
Some of the Comox Valley’s up-and-coming performers will do solos and group choreography. Some of the numbers have been choreographed by Cofield and Desi Rekrut, exploring many ranges of dances.
Entry is by donation, and everyone is welcome.
