Residents are invited to discover the “stunning evolution of belly dance” Aug. 24 at the international dance education fundraiser India to Egypt and Abroad.
Dozens of performers from the Okanagan area will take the stage at the Cleland Community Theatre to demonstrate the migration of belly dance. Dance styles to be featured throughout the evening include: East Indian, Persian, Egyptian, Turkish, Greek, Spanish Fusion, Cabaret, ATS, Tribal Fusion, Street, and Bollywood.
The evening is presented by Get Bent Dance and Boundless Belly Dance. Show starts at 7 p.m. Adult admission is $20 and child admission is $10.
