The 6th Annual Canadian Blue Moon Elvis Festival will be taking place at the North Thompson Fall Fairgrounds in Barriere with a full contingent Elvis tribute artists and entertainers.
The event runs July 13, 14 and 15, starting with the opening show on Friday evening and running right through to Sunday evening. Fans are already starting to arrive in the community from B.C. Alberta and points south. They come to socialize, hear their favourites, and of course to meet the artists.
The Friday night show opens with Steven Hills, and the main show features ‘The Elvis Years’. The Saturday night show features Justin Shandor from Las Vegas, and Sunday evening features a tribute to Kenny and Dolly by Marty Edwards and Wendy Engler. Special guests are Charles Stone and Greg McDonald, with entertainers Paul Ellis, Jeff Bodner, Bret Wiggins, Tyler Cody, Ron Pearcy and Jaedyn Pilon. Also performing will be the Cadillac Kings and the Uptown Hornz.
The music is a guaranteed trip back in time, and the talent promises to be first rate.
