Award winning Elvis Presley tribute artist Adam Fitzpatrick brings his Elvis Evolution show to Music by the River Sunday, July 26.

He’ll give you one for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and four to go… to Enderby.

Fitzpatrick performs the day after the Enderby Arts Festival, which takes place all day Saturday throughout downtown Enderby, said Diana Inselberg, vice president with  the Enderby and District Arts Council, which is presenting both the arts festival and the concert.

“Prepare to be dazzled by jumpsuits, glitz, great music and more on Sunday,” she said.

Fitzpatrick  is originally from Penticton and has won numerous awards since his career as an Elvis tribute artist began in 2008.

It’s in his hometown where was named a finalist at the Penticton Elvis Festival, which he entered on a dare.

Since then, Fitzpatrick has gained a worldwide reputation for his natural ability to capture the passion Presley had for music and the electrifying appeal he had on and off the stage.

Fitzpatrick was a member of the popular Louisiana Hayride show, based in Salmon Arm, before he left to take on a busy schedule as a solo performer.

He has been the grand champion of two of the biggest Elvis contests in the world, in San Diego, Calif. in 2012 and Penticton in 2013.

Other recent accomplishments include winning the 2014 European Tribute to Elvis in Blackpool, England, being named the Las Vegas Elvis Festival grand champion, and the Las Vegas People’s Choice in 2014, and the World Ultimate Elvis first runner-up in Memphis, Tenn in 2013.

Fitzpatrick’s Elvis Evolution show consistently plays to sold out venues thrilling audiences everywhere. With two highly successful CDs out and exciting music projects in the works, his star keeps rising.

Fitzpatrick takes the stage at Belvidere Park, by the bridge in Enderby, Sunday at 7 p.m. Admission is free, with donations accepted during intermission. Bring a chair or blanket. If it rains, the concert will be moved to the Enderby Drill Hall, 200 George St., Hwy 97A.
