A pair of highly-popular tribute acts are returning to the Valley in the next few weeks.
First up, on Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Duncan Showroom, starting at 8 p.m., is Completely Creedence, a lively group from Campbell River.
The Showroom’s Longevity John Falkner says, “They have come to the Valley before and everyone loved them; as much Creedence as you can handle. We will make a dance floor off to side, for sure.”
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Go get ‘em and dance your way into 2017.
If you’re hankering to see these guys really tear down the house in a big venue, then you can see Completely Creedence on the big stage at the Cowichan Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, Jan. 26 starting at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets to this one are $35.50. Get those seats by going online to cowichanpac.ca or phone the Cowichan Ticket Centre at 250-748-7529. Don’t wait: these fellows will really rock the big venue.
Then, on Wednesday, Jan. 11, starting at 7:30 p.m., David James and Big River: the Johnny Cash Tribute are bringing their show to the Duncan Showroom.
They’ve been in the Valley many times, as recently as just before Christmas at the Crofton Hotel. So, if you missed them before, this could be your opportunity.
“Now is the chance to see them in an intimate theatre setting with excellent sound. Ah yes, a good time to venture back to the great career of Johnny Cash,” Falkner says.
Tickets for this one are $30 in advance or $35 at the door, if any are left.
