Drum & Bell Tower is the melodic and driving song writing experiment of lakecity teacher Brent Morton, offering commentary on political, environmental, and social realities.
Recordings and live shows are solo, putting to work voice, acoustic guitar, high-hat, and drum.
With musical hints of artists like Beck, Neil Young, and the acoustic side of Zeppelin, the sounds range from mellow strum style to chopped and rocking riffery.
Albums include The Black Need (2008), Scratch Out Your Name (2010) and Burn Beneath the Water (2011).
The band Dynamic Downfall came together in 2009 and includes Nick Carrier on bass, Colton Douglas on lead guitar, Bob Favell on drums, and vocalist Nathan Mortimer. The group does collaborative song writing and performs all of their own music.
Jesaja Class is just 14 but is already an accomplished magician and entertainer. He is adept at juggling balls, clubs, fire clubs, rings and diabolos.
His magic tricks involve card manipulation, a dancing cane, Chinese linking rings,

The suicide awareness gathering and concert will be held in the lakecity on Tuesday, Sept. 27 starting at 3:30 p.m. in the Gwen Ringwood amphitheater in Boitanio Park with a few words of introduction about what suicide prevention is all about. People will then walk to the memorial tree in Boitanio Park for a moment of silence.
After that people will then walk or make their way by other means to the Long House in the Stampede grounds for the concert and information session which will wind up at 6:30 p.m.
Organizer Bettina Schoen says the concert will alternate between musical entertainment, stories and information about suicide and suicide prevention and intervention as well as available community resources.
Refreshments will also be provided.
The Williams Lake and Area Suicide and Sudden Death Committee is hosting this community event.
According to the committee Canada loses 4,000 people a year to suicide and another 23,000 Canadians are hospitalized each year for attempted suicide.
