The Victoria Conservatory of Music is throwing open its doors to the community next week to allow people of all ages to explore their musical tastes.
There will be free mini-lessons and instructors will be on hand to answer questions. As well, practice rooms, performance halls and the children’s music department will be open to the public.
The event, which happens Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 900 Johnson St., features live entertainment, an instrument petting zoo and a draw for free lessons.
