On Saturday, Oct. 8, Cineplex is presenting The Adventure Club as a part of its Family Favourites programming at an exclusive, one-day only screening in theatres across Canada.
The film’s Canadian distributor, Indiecan Entertainment and production company, Trilight Entertainment, will donate proceeds from the screenings to Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday, Sept. 23 at the Cineplex website here.
The film follows three 10-year-old friends who discover a “wishbox,” an ancient artifact with the ability to grant wishes. The three decide to use the box to save their local science centre from bankruptcy, but in doing so they discover that there are some shady characters who are also after the box and who will stop at nothing to get it.
