Victoria Friends of Cuba is screening a film called Cultures of Resistance, which explores how creative action contributes to conflict prevention and resolution. It highlights the work of artists, musicians and dancers throughout the world who are working for peace and justice. It takes place at 7 p.m., Nov. 17, at 2994 Douglas St. in the BCGEU Hall.
