Penticton’s Army of Sass (AOS) wants you to find the joy at their next showcase, Joie de Vivre.
“Life is a journey. The ups, the downs and everything in between tell a great story. Join us as we recount a tale of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery,” stated the event’s press release. “It’s all a part of the joy of living. Music features current artists, female-driven, a mix of pop, R&B and classics.”
AOS is a “training and performance program for all levels, designed to build confidence and gain physical strength while developing sassy dance skills in heels,” according to its website.
Joie de Vivre kicks off at the Cannery Stage, located at 1475 Fairview Rd., on Dec. 7, with three show times of 5:30, 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. The doors will open for attendees a half hour before each performance.

The 18+ night also features guest performances by Just Jerri, Dani Lion, Eri Deos and Nadine Ashby. Following each show will be a 50/50 draw.
Guests are encouraged to grab dinner and cocktails before the show at Penticton’s Nest & Nectar, located at in the same building as the Cannery Stage. It is recommended to make a reservation at the restaurant ahead of time by calling 250-493-7275.
Tickets can be purchased online in advance for $20 each at Eventbrite, or at the door fo $25. It is noted that online ticket sales will end on Eventbrite at 2 p.m. on Dec. 7.
