In an in-camera multiple exposure, Irene Tah of Goh Ballet (Vancouver) performs a Sleeping Beauty ballet routine in the Solo Set Variation-Pointe (age 14) category on the opening day of the 50th-annual Surrey Festival of Dance at the Surrey Arts Centre on March 29.
Featuring more than 10,000 dancers, the festival continues until April 28, and concludes with the No Borders Group Dance Challenge on May 16.
Upcoming genres over the next few weeks include modern, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, hip hop/street, international and tap and stage.
