Gary Fiellgaard (far right), Saskia (centre) and Darrel (left) performed at the local Legion on Wednesday, May 5. Fjellgaard has won countless awards for his songwriting skills and Canadian cowboy tunes. While Fjellgaard might have been the headline act, the three played many songs together throughout the show, and kept the crowd entertained. From yodelling to hand-clapping, there was some excellent audience participation during the show, which was a fundraiser put on by Music on the Mountain organizers. The proceeds will go towards the big event in August, but there will be more musical nights to raise dollars and bring music to the Fort's ears prior to MoM itself.
