Juno award-winning singer/songwriter Gary Fjellgaard is touring Canada and Europe with his wife Lynne, and their award-winning Saskatchewan friends Saskia and Darrel.

From Halifax to Hamburg, this trio has played for appreciative audiences but they always stop at home, where the fans not only love but understand their music. Songs about Louis Riel, gophers, windswept prairies and the simplicity of heartland living stir the imagination and memories of concert goers and keep them coming back.

Their shows are filled with hilarious stories and poignant song lyrics accented by extraordinary harmonies.

Wherever Gary Fjellgaard, Saskia and Darrel play they also leave behind a sense of fellowship, hope, and lots of joy, along with funds for a local project.

The concert the trio will give at St. Andrew’s United Church April 28, starting at 7 p.m. is a benefit for the Cariboo Friendship Society’s Choices program which provides a fun, healthy, and safe environment for urban aboriginal youth.

Darrel was nominated for Aboriginal Artist of the Year and Fjellgaard touched the hearts and souls of many first nations people with his beautiful song, I Apologize

Advance tickets are available at the Bean Counter Bistro, Sight and Sound and will also be available at the door.
