The Fort Langley Artists Group (FLAG) wrap up their 2017 season with The Four Seasons Aug. 5 to Sept. 4.
Showing at the FLAGstop Gallery in Fort Langley’s historic CN train station, the exhibit will feature a variety of work from 14 local artists.
“It’s been a wonderful summer at the gallery,” said artist Margo Harrison. “The ‘Flaggies’ are a group of 14 local creatives passionate about expressing life experiences through their art and we welcome the public to enjoy this showing of new work.”
Exhibiting are member artists Alison Philpott, Beverly Lawrence, Diane Zepeski, Ela Cholewa, Eileen Butler, Felicity Holmes, Gabrielle Strauss, Gail Simpson, Margo Harrison, Marguerite Whelton, Jeanie Shilton, Kim Bucholtz, Mary-Ann Snell and Pat Weibelzahl.
On Labour Day (Sept. 4) from noon to 4 p.m., the Flaggies will also do an “Artists in Action Paint-In,” featuring public demonstrations of painting, drawing and sculpting at the CN Station site.
The FLAGstop Gallery, located at 23245 Mavis Ave., is open noon to 4 p.m. every Saturday, Sunday and holiday Monday until Sept. 4.
