The deadline to buy a box of long-stemmed roses as part of an annual fundraiser is set for Friday (March 28).
A small army of volunteers for the Vancouver Island Symphony will head out from Turley’s Florist in Nanaimo to knock on doors to homes, offices, schools, businesses – anywhere a thought of appreciation is being given. They will be handing an unsuspecting friend, loved one, business associate, neighbour, doctor, banker, teacher, staff or client, a box filled with colourful and long-lasting premium-grown roses.
Now in its 15th year, Symphony of Roses delivery day takes place on Wednesday (April 2).
To place an order, please call 250-754-6344 or download the order form from the symphony’s website at www.vancouverislandsymphony.com and fax it to 250-754-2191 or drop it off at Turley’s.
All orders must be placed through Turley’s Florist at 60 Terminal Ave. by 4 p.m. on Friday, with delivery on Wednesday.
Cost for a box of a dozen roses is $30, or $55 for 24. All proceeds go directly to the symphony.
