The Envision Coffee House Concert Series presents Frank David at Clayburn Gourmet Gallery (#320 Immel St.) on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 8 to 10 p.m.
As a young boy, David began singing traditional Italian songs for family and friends and was soon wowing audiences with his innate ability to sing complicated tenor arias.
Upon moving to Vancouver in 1995, David decided to obtain vocal coaching from an established opera voice coach.
In 2006, he began learning the songs and arrangements of Frank Sinatra, and has since added more than 100 Sinatra classics to his repertoire of hundreds of songs that include opera, cross-over, world and pop.
David’s powerful three-octave range and velvety smooth vocals make for a truly memorable and entertaining evening.
Concert goers are also invited to take part in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program by bringing non-perishable food or cash donations to Clayburn Gourmet Gallery in support of the Abbotsford Food Bank.
So far, more than 4,100 pounds of food and $27,000 have been collected for the Full Cupboard.
