Victorians can enjoy a series of free B- and cult films this summer at the Free-B Film Festival.
The annual festival debuts on the Legislature Lawns on Aug. 1 with a screening of Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, and runs every Friday and Saturday in Beacon Hill Park until Aug. 23. The finale this year will be Death Goes North, a 1939 mystery filmed in Saanich, which will show at Broadmead Village.
All films are rated G or PG, and will be shown on a 20-foot-wide inflatable screen. Screenings start at 9 p.m. Full schedule available at FreeBFilmFest.com
