Two rival sheep farmers have been feuding for decades.
Neighbours Gummi, played by Sigurdur Sigurjónsson, and Kiddi, played by Theodór Júlíusson, haven’t spoken to each other for 40 years.
Communication between the two occurs through letters carried by Kiddi’s dog. The rivalry reaches a boiling point during the annual competition for the best ram.
The story of the two farmers is told in the Icelandic film Rams, presented by TheatreOne as part of its Fringe Flick Series at Avalon Cinema April 24-25. On April 24 it shows at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. and on April 25 it shows at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12 and are available by calling 250-754-7587 or at the door.
