Garibaldi Art Club hosts spring show

The spring show and sale takes place Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21 in Maple Ridge

The Garibaldi Art Club holds its spring show and sale this weekend.

A wide selection of original paintings in a variety of styles and mediums, as well as pottery and ceramics will be featured.

This is a juried exhibition with a panel of professional jurors selecting works to be displayed. This year the jurors are artists Ron Hedrick, Sherri Pratt, and Bobbi Mack.

The club has been in existence since 1959, growing considerably from a few members meeting at the Albion Hall, to a group of  approximately 100 members who meet monthly at the ACT.

• The spring show and sale takes place Saturday, April 20th and Sunday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Fraserview Village Hall located at the corner of 227th St. and 116th Ave., just off the Haney By-Pass in Maple Ridge.
