The Royal Coachman is host a evening of live Big Band Music and dancing at in Upper Carriage Room, on Nov. 12, featuring the 19 person Georgia Strait Big Band.

The Royal Coachman will be offering a full food and beverage menu to compliment your evening out.
You are in for a musical treat, as the band performs tunes from its 250 song repertoire, made famous by The Count, Gillespie and Ellington, expertly led by conductor, Greg Bush, Professor of Jazz Studies at Vancouver Island University.
The bands repertoire also includes many contemporary tunes from popular arrangers and composers ranging from swing to Latin.
Seating will be limited so don’t be disappointed and get your tickets early.

“Performing in a smaller room at the Upper Carriage room with our 19 person band will make for a very memorable evening of live music,” said Rob Peterson, band manager.
The Georgia Strait Big Band is a Comox Valley based band that is carrying on a tradition of Big Band music that dates back more than 80 years.
Doors open at 6:00 and the music begins at 7:00.
Advance tickets available at the Royal Coachman for $18.
They will be $20 at the door on the night of the event.
