The Reach Gallery Museum hosts a fundraiser titled Girls Night @ The Museum Goes Bollywood on Friday, Nov. 6.
The event features fine wine, dance, food, treats, shopping and more – all to raise money for kids’ arts and heritage learning.
Local violinist Dan Huget, who has performed at numerous Reach exhibition receptions and community events, provides some Indie-inspired music on his electric violin.
Bhangra dancer Jeevan Sophia Singh also performs and teaches Bhangra steps to those attending Girls Night.
An artisans market features hand-crafted jewelry, pottery, lavender body products, visual art and design pieces from mirrors to small furniture pieces.
Rounding out the event are a silent auction, hand or foot reflexology “quickies,” creative henna art, gourmet cookie art and the making of some bling wine charms.
Appetizers and sweets will be served.
The event runs from 7 to 10 p.m. at The Reach, 32388 Veterans Way.
Tickets are $35 for Reach members and $40 for guests, and are available in person, online at thereach.ca or by calling 604-864-8087.
