The Reach Gallery Museum presents its annual Girls Night @ The Museum fundraiser Nov. 1 from 7 to 10 p.m.
This year, the event “goes vintage” as it raises funds for creative family learning programs at The Reach.
Appetizers and desserts will be served, while the local Pilkey Sisters perform a tightly blended three-part harmony of favourite nostalgic numbers.
Born in the Fraser Valley, the Pilkey Sisters have been acting, and singing jazz, pop, R&B, gospel and country for all their lives.
Girls Night also features artists, designers and food vendors in the great hall.
There, participants can shop for items such as hand-crafted clothing, custom wood gifts, vintage jewelry and glass beads, as well as bid on silent auction packages.
They can also try their hand at making wine charms and traditional European Christmas stars, learn how to create a seasonal decor piece and catch decorating tips.
Tickets for the event are $30 for Reach “friends” or $35 for the public. They are available online at thereach.ca, by phone at 604-864-8087 or in person at The Reach, 32388 Veterans Way.
