LifeBridge Recovery Ministry presents a benefit concert on Saturday, March 7 featuring the Good Noise Vancouver Gospel Choir.
The concert begins at 7 p.m. at Bakerview Mennonite Brethren Church, 2285 Clearbrook Rd. A silent auction runs from 6 to 7 p.m.
The choir features more than 90 singers, including Abbotsford’s own Crystal Hicks, under the direction of Gail Suderman, who describes the concert as “Motown meets gospel.”
“The songs we have chosen for this concert support all that LifeBridge is doing, responding to people’s daily needs, looking after our fellow human,” she said.
The songs include Stevie Wonder’s Have a Talk with God, Billy Preston’s That’s the Way God Planned It, and a medley of Michael Jackson’s Heal the World and We are the World.
Tickets are $20 and are available at the House of James and Level Ground Church.
