On Saturday Aug. 3, the Errington farmer’s market has a little something special planned for lovers of the arts.
Scattered throughout the market from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be local artists creating works of art on the spot.
People can watch as community members paint, create fibre art, draw with pastels, create ceramic arts and more.
The 3rd Annual Art in the Park bills itself as “a community event which brings food and art, farmers and artists, together.”
In addition to the live art creation, the Errington Old Fire Hall will host a show and sale made up entirely of local artists.
The show and sale goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and promises colourful and creative paintings for lovers of acrylic, watercolour and oil.
Families are welcome, and there will be activities for children and opportunities for young ones to create works of their very own.
Both events are completely free of charge.
