Hear The Music Night returns to the Vernon District Performing Arts Centre offering an opportunity to hear local Christian worship music.
The Hear The Night Music series starts Sept. 22, 6 p.m., and continues each month until the end of 2019.
“We are thrilled to do our worship concerts once a month for the rest of the year,” said Jon Buller, executive director of Hear the Music Ministries and leader of the energetic band.
“A big part of our philosophy is educational, so I love to involve young people in our teams.
“We are always mentoring and coaching the next generation.”
A free-will offering will be received to help pay for the event and support the other community activities that Hear the Music ministries is involved in.
“It is so important to us to help the local churches and invest in the local music and arts of Vernon – in fact, it is a privilege to have a voice in that area,” said Buller.
Hear the Music also announced it will host an arts conference in May 2020 to train up its artists, musicians and technicians.
The charitable organization has a history of 14 years in Vernon, known as a place “where people can engage in a community of faith that may have many differences but are united by their desire to lift up the name of Jesus,” according to Buller. For more information, visit htmministries.com
