Highlands Music Coffee House goes Saturday

Three Worlds is tonight's featured performer

The final Highlands Music Coffee House of the year takes over the historic Caleb Pike House, 1589 Millstream Rd., this Saturday, Dec. 9.

Three Worlds, an Island-based group consisting of award-winning guitarist Brad Prevedoros, acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Greg Joy and percussion master Niel Golden will be the featured act for the evening.

Their debut album, released in 2011, features the group’s interpretive blend of eastern, Latin, jazz, blues, African, Pan-Asian and Celtic folk influences.

Doors open at 7 p.m. with entertainment starting at 7:30. Each event kicks off with an open mic with Saturday’s performers including Eric Harper, and Rhonda Lou Broadfoot and Michael Nicholls.

Admission is $5 with children under the age of 15 free.
