The biggest and brightest holiday experience in the Fraser Valley returns Saturday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m. to Highstreet Shopping Centre with their sixth annual Highstreet Holiday Show and Tree Lighting.
Highlights include the lighting of a dazzling 65-foot Christmas tree – one of the tallest in Canada – along with Santa’s arrival to Highstreet.
Other crowd favourites include Rudolph, Frosty, Spandy Andy the dancing elf, a 40-piece marching band, festive dancers, live music and a magical snowfall.
Highstreet’s 30-minute live show includes a multi-media light display utilizing 6,000 tri-colour LED bulbs set to holiday musical favourites.
The live shows run at Highstreet (3122 Mt. Lehman Rd.) every Saturday at 5 p.m. until Dec. 14.
Additional Highstreet holiday festivities include:
n photos with Santa in an oversized gift box from Nov. 21 to Dec. 24;
n Santa’s Mailbox from Nov. 21 to Dec. 10, where kids can drop off their letters to Santa inside the post office at London Drugs, with Highstreet donating a can of food to the Archway Food Bank for every letter received; and
n gift-wrapping and personal shopping from Nov. 21 to Dec. 24, with complimentary wrapping offered with donations to the food bank.
